Antony James Royle is the son of Jim and Barbara Royle. He is married to Saskia Royle, with whom he has a child. He also has a son, Lewis Royle, from his previous relationship to Emma Kavanagh. Denise Best is his sister, and through her, he has a nephew, David Best and a niece, Norma Best. He is the brother-in-law of David Best, the grandson of Norma Speakman and the son-in-law of his wife's parents.

Personality

Anthony is usually laid back apparant Lazy Arse Son Of Jim and Barbara. He is made to do everything from make the tea to answer the door. He is called a lazy git by Jim while he sits there and Anthony makes the tea. When Anthony leaves home, Jim relies on Barbara to do all of Anthony's "Chores."

Anthony is applied as a dumb doesn't know nothing childish teenager although he get's angry when he is made to do stuff once he has just sat down and argues why Denise doesn't have to do anything.

But during The Queen of Sheba it turns out Anthony has got a Job interview in Milton Keynes. He turns out to be wealthy in Joe's Crackers when he buys Jim a Sky HD Box and Barbara a Dyson Ball Vacum Cleaner. He tries to start a band during Series 2 but they soon split up but return back together and make a tape and head back to London with it.

Appearance

He appears in shaggy clothes during Series 1 and dyes his hair blonde during Series 2 but dyes it back. He wears more formal suits in the specials when he has a big job.

Family

During Series 2 Anthony has a girlfriend called Emma. The couple have a child in 2001 called Lewis, but soon split up afterwards. He then has another girlfriend called Saskia during The Golden Egg Cup and during Joe's Crackers, Anthony proposes to her whilst she is pregnant.
